Beveled Edge Tutorial

In this tutorial I will show you how to enhance an image by giving it a beveled edge. First you will need to save the image that I have shown here. Left click then right click to save to your image file. Open the image up in your paint shop pro, or use an image of your choice.

Step 2: Select the Color Picker Tool. In my case I used the color blue on the flag. Once you have selected the color go to the Airbrush Tool and set, settings to, Round Size 32, Hardness 0, Opacity 100, Step 25, Density 25.  Now that you have selected a color and set the airbrush,  spray the outer edge of the image. Make sure you stay on the white of the image. Do not spray the flag its self.

Step 3: Select the Magic Wand. Set the Wand Tool to RGB, Tolerance 60 now click the blue color on the image. This will bring up lines that look like marching ants while the ants are still moving, click the Outer Bevel Tool this can be found under Effects. Set the Bevel Tool to, Preset Metallic, Smoother 10, Depth 5, Ambience 0, Shininess 80, Intensity 25,  Elevation 80. Now that you have selected the settings click apply. Next click on the color block and select the color black. This will give the image depth.

Step 4: To give the image a more subtle look, click  the Invert Tool, then click the Light Effects. Set settings to Flood, Color Light Gold, Intensity  50, leave all other settings as they are.

Yes sir ree you did it! Congratulations.

Tip: There are numerous effects that you can get out of using different settings. So play around with them you will be pleasantly surprised
