1. Personal, educational, and commercial sites are welcome to apply. 

2. If you're selling something, you should have an attractive place
with ample information on your product and/or services. You should present your items with germane graphics, current marketing layouts, and techniques. 

3. You must be18 years old to apply for our award. (see Ethics page). 

4. No nudity, pornography, profanity, hate, racism or violence of any
kind. 

5. Your site must be in English or offer an English version. 

6. Sites must be at least five pages.

7. We will not review a site consisting of only links, or unofficial  fan sites.

8. Navigation is important. People like to visit a site with the ability
to choose where they go. Please make getting around your site
clear. We want to find our way to any area of the
web site, from any page. 

9. Graphics and animations are nice; however, please don't overdo
it. Graphics with no purpose are a distraction and waste of load time. 

10. If you use graphics, animations, or any content made by others; Give proper credit. ( see Copyrights  page)

11. Music must have a visible shut off on each page. 

12. We are understanding of the pop-ups required by hosted sites.
Make that all. Only one advertisement per server.

13. If we get an error message when trying to access
a page. we will attempt to access the page on two additional occasions. At that point the evaluation will end.

14. Load time is something we take a look at. Peak internet traffic is a consideration, but your site must download within 60 seconds.

 

15.There should be no horizontal scroll bar in a 800 X 600 screen resolution.
